Daily Paintings | Donald D. Krause Fine Art

I am committed to painting daily whether or not I’m able to complete a painting in just one day. Sometimes that vision demands more thought, another hour or two … a new perspective.

These works are visual reflections of my thinking, my heart and along with daily journaling, my spiritual journey. Some are Faith-based and a little mysterious (even to me), often fueled by scriptural study. And others, secular to some, are simply celebrations of natural things, God’s creations.

The collection of daily paintings is constantly growing and changing, with small paintings of both types generally available. If you’d like to stay informed about what is currently available, please sign up here.

Regular Jesus

I ran across this verse, Isaiah 53:2 He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. So I painted this regular Jesus out of my mind’s eye. Call for price 847-899-1715

Pruning

John 15:1-2
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.”
I was privileged to hear Nancy Grisham, PhD. teach on this passage. Her sweet spirit and love for Jesus is evident in her relationship with Him. As she unpacked this richly loaded chapter I started to be less defensive about this idea of being pruned and looked forward to abiding in Christ. I’m praying for some good changes in myself. Jesus Raises Lazarus From the Dead

John 11:38-43
